This information is collected solely for the purpose of quantifying the number and frequency of users accessing the system and is not utilized to identify any individual users. No other information, actions, events, or data managed or visualized within the Custom Visual are logged or transmitted to our servers without your explicit consent.

6. Security of Your Data

TEKANTIS Limited is committed to protecting the data you share with us. We employ a combination of industry-standard security technologies, procedures, and organizational measures to safeguard your data from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Our company supports online security through the use of secure server technology to ensure the safety of your data. We also bind our employees and data processors by stringent confidentiality and privacy obligations to uphold your privacy and confidentiality rights.

7. Processing based on a statutory permission

We collect and process personal data to fulfil contractual obligations pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) of the UK GDPR. This includes processing the personal data of contracting parties (e.g., employment contracts, company contracts, sales contracts) and possibly the personal data of external contractual collaborators. Personal data required for the fulfilment of contractual obligations, such as date of birth, gender, tax number, contact details, residence data, transaction account data, profession, education, registration number, data on submitted personal documents, and other necessary personal data, is collected exclusively to the minimum extent permitted for each specific purpose. This data is also collected and processed during the phase of concluding agreements, negotiations, responding to related inquiries, processing feedback, or providing support. We maintain several records of personal data processing activities, detailing the types of personal data, the purposes of processing, the basis for collection and processing, retention periods, and access to data.

We also collect and process personal data to ensure compliance with legal obligations. Our products, technologies, and services are subject to export laws of various countries, including, without limitation, those of the European Union, its member states, and the United States of America. You acknowledge that, pursuant to applicable export laws, trade sanctions, and embargoes, we are required to take measures to prevent entities, organizations, and parties listed on government-issued sanctioned-party lists from accessing certain products, technologies, and services through our website or other delivery channels controlled by us. This may include:

(i) Automated checks of any User registration data and other information a User provides against applicable sanctioned-party lists; (ii) Regular repetition of such checks whenever a sanctioned-party list is updated or when a User updates their information; (iii) Blocking of access to our services and systems in case of a potential match; and (iv) Contacting a User to confirm their identity in case of a potential match.

Any such use of your personal data is based on the permission to process personal data to comply with statutory obligations (Article 6(1)(c) of the UK GDPR) and our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the UK GDPR).

We also process personal data based on our legitimate interests pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the UK GDPR, such as for preventing or prosecuting criminal activities (e.g., fraud) and to assert or defend against legal claims. When processing personal data based on our legitimate interests, we always weigh the interests of individuals against our interests as Controllers to determine whether the interests and fundamental rights of individuals prevail over our interests. In particular, during processing, we respect the principle of data minimization, ensuring personal data is relevant and limited to what is necessary for the purposes for which it is processed.

We also collect and process personal data if you have granted prior consent in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the UK GDPR. If we are required to retain your personal data for legal reasons, your data will be restricted from further processing and retained only for the duration required by law. However, withdrawal of consent does not affect the legality of any processing carried out based on your consent prior to its withdrawal. Additionally, if the provision of our services requires your prior consent, we may no longer be able to provide the relevant services or offers to you after your withdrawal.

For more information regarding the processing of personal data based on consent, you may contact our Data Protection Officer at: support@tekantis.com or via regular post addressed to our registered office: TEKANTIS Limited, Knoll House, Knoll Road, Camberley, Surrey, United Kingdom, GU15 3SY, with the annotation “Protection of Personal Data”.
